Don’t rub, tug or touch your lashes. This can cause premature shedding.
No oily products, waterproof eye makeup or heavy eye creams, these can break down the adhesive and reduce retention.

Ongoing Care

Cleanse your lashes with an oil-free cleanser and a clean spoolie brush to remove dirt and oil.
Don’t use oil-based products around the eye area. This can cause premature shedding.
Sleep on your back to prevent lash friction and patchy lash fallout. You can use a silk pillowcase to reduce friction while sleeping.

Extra Tips

Don’t rub or pull on your extensions.
Use only extension-safe mascaras and don’t use “extension-safe” mascaras that contain oil.
Get refills every 2–3 weeks to get a full lash look.

For oily skin clients, we recommend using a clean spoolie brush to brush through your lashes daily to keep them tidy. Don’t use oily products around your eyes, including eye creams and makeup removers, as this can cause premature shedding.

Retention is how long your lash extensions last before they need to be replaced. Typically 2–4 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle, aftercare routine and type of extensions you get. For optimal retention get touch-ups every 2–3 weeks. Retention can also be affected by oily skin, makeup removers and extension-safe mascaras.
