• Administer Paw Paw or Bepanthen ointment 3-4 times daily, pre and post-bathing (ensure the region stays hydrated).
• Preclude cross-contamination. Cleanliness is paramount − cleanse your hands before using the healing ointment, and employ a sterile cotton swab.
• Between each use, gently cleanse away the previous ointment before reapplying.
• Slight itching and skin shedding are typical and signify healing. Refrain from tugging, rubbing or scratching the treated zone; otherwise, the pigment might settle unevenly, leading to potential scars or infections. Allow natural shedding of the area.
• Hold off on physical activities or immersion in water for 48 hours, and stay clear of salted or chlorinated waters. Bypass steam rooms, saunas, and hot tubs.
